I'm a 36-year-old creative soul from the Midwest. After years of nurturing this idea, it's finally blossomed into something I'm ready to share.

 TatteredMendedSoul is a reminder that even in the face of immense loss, there's always hope for renewal. Five years ago, my world shattered, leaving me feeling broken and lost. But I refused to let grief define me.

One night, the word "tattered" jolted me awake. It echoed in my mind, leaving me wondering about its significance. The next morning, "soul" emerged, and I was thrilled with the idea of using "Tattered Soul" for a business. But that excitement soon gave way to sadness. I didn't want to be broken, but I was.

My soul was tattered, but with the love and support of God, my counselor, family, and friends, I was able to mend it. That's when I crossed out "tattered" and TatteredMendedSoul was born.

I envision this blog as a space where I can share snippets of my story, when I'm ready, intertwined with my hobbies and interests like plants, thrifting, butterfly gardens, and home decor. In essence, it all comes together full circle. 

Here's an explanation of how the name connects to each one of my interests:  

🌿 Plants: Plants symbolize growth, change, and new beginnings. They require care and attention, just like our own well-being.

👚 Thrifting: Thrifting encourages giving pre-loved items a second chance, similar to how we can mend our own lives.

🦋 Butterfly Gardens: Butterflies represent metamorphosis, a powerful symbol of personal transformation.

🖼️ Home Decor: Creating a beautiful and comfortable home environment reflects inner peace and a sense of belonging.
